Healing Puzzles Website contains a series of Healing Puzzles, those puzzles will be used by private practices or facilities that employ one or more psychologist or social worker. Healing Puzzles is designed to open the line of communication between the user and their client so that they may find ways to cope with and/or remedy the issues affecting their lives, thus leading to a more relaxed and healthier lifestyle.

In today’s fast-paced society, individuals are often faced with stress overload due to work pressures and/or personal problems. Many of these individuals are unable to discuss their concerns, hereby perpetuating the effects that this stress can have on them both physically and emotionally. Moreover, children often suffer in silence because they do not know how to deal with or talk about the issues affecting them, such as bullying, sexual abuse, etc. Psychologists and social workers are often unable to get their patients to open up about their struggles so they are unable provide them with the help they so desperately need.

Ms. Snow’s mission for Healing Puzzles is to enhance the communication between users and their clients by providing a tool which will be engaging, interactive, and therapeutic. The goal is to help people solve and/or cope with their problems, illnesses, and issues; issues that individuals of every age, race, gender, and geographical location deal with on a daily basis.

Healing Puzzles’ series of puzzles are available on our website or app. The person in charge of= ordering tools for their Psychologists/social workers at the facility will purchase a monthly or yearly subscription dependant on the number in their practice/facility. New puzzles will be added regularly and users will be able to customize each puzzle to suit their client’s needs.

Each puzzle is designed with a selection of questions and images that can be customized by thecounsellor to address the needs of individuals based on their specific requirements. The psychologist/social worker may decide to have the client use the puzzles only while in therapy with them or permit them to use the app on their mobile device while away from therapy as a continuation of therapy. They may also upload a meditation that they feel might compliment the Healing Puzzle. The info uploaded at the in-person session will be saved separately from the info added at home by the client.

The counselor and the client can access the necessary puzzles simultaneously, with the client communicating via textbox in response to the statement or question on the puzzle piece. The counsellor can view the client’s responses immediately and discuss issues in further detail if needed. If the client does not feel like verbalizing their feelings, they can continue to type their responses. The client can do this at any given time during their session with the counsellor and the counsellor can reassess the client’s progress at any time. This may allow for a “breakthrough” to be achieved more quickly if the therapy is allowed to continue outside the clinical setting. This of course would be at the Counsellors discretion.

There will be Healing Puzzles for all issues, ages, races, and gender. The Healing Puzzles for smaller children will be associated with emotions. Counselors using Healing Puzzles may help a person face their addiction, deal with separation or divorce, or a variety of issues they may need assistance with. The Puzzles are designed to open the lines of communication so that the individual can work through the issues affecting them through engaging colorful puzzles with text, music, with the ability to add text, or build a virtual world inside the puzzle thus enabling younger children to have their own avatar and/or a family of avatars (there will be 20/30 avatars at different ages and available in all nationalities) to really show how they are feeling if too young to verbalize how they feel. For example, if a child is abused by someone in the family or a baby sit, they can set up the puzzle and show to some degree what is happening to them if not able to verbalize what is happening. There will also be a scale showing their degree of happiness and sadness, the ability to show the counsellor what is going on in their lives with just touching the screen and building the puzzle. This tool will help break through communication barriers by helping the client express themselves more clearly. Healing Puzzles will be customized in any language; thus, can be sold and utilized worldwide. Each client will be provided with a URL and passcode to access the website/app.

Healing Puzzles for Autism Spectrum Disorder will be assessable through a specialist that specializes in this disorder. This puzzle will have special features and the parent using this puzzle can add the features they feel is best for their child. It will include, numbers, letters, colours, sounds (nature, static, clock ticking, etc.), transportation (buses, trains etc.) it will also have a feature for playdough and slime ( textures that looks real and they can move around and play with it. Blocks, tools, baking might be some of the features that can be added. If the child finds the parents voice calming, they can record a message or a few paragraphs from his/her favorite book.

The Healing Puzzles that are available for the larger institutions will be available for the smaller facilities. All users will have the ability to send in feedback to how they are finding the Healing Puzzles and they may even make suggestions for extra puzzles they would like to see plus any other feature they would like to see added.
